The Epernay was first released in 2008 as the follow up to the wildly popular ECCJ, now a regular release, that was an exclusive offering made for the European Cigar Cult Journal for their 15th Anniversary. The blend was created with the European palate in mind. To understand what that means, you should know that the blend uses entirely Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and is made to emulate a Cuban style palate. However, being Nicaraguan produced and going for the Cuban profile allows for more depth of flavor and quality in construction versus a Cuban cigar. Enjoy a profile of honey, brown sugar, sweet coffee, maple, bourbon and oak, all in a low mild-medium body cigar.
